Although unmarked we believe this to be a T & J Carey tea & coffee trio dating to c1825.
Thomas & John Carey operated from the Anchor works, Lane End, Longton, Staffs. In production c1823 -1842.
This trio with green ground with gilt crosshatch and leaves. Gilt absttract borders. Supported ring handle wth thumb rest and spur.
Cup sizes, approx : Tea 2" tall x 3 5/8" across rim. Coffee 2 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" across rim.
No damage found. There is some gilt rub and wear to ground colour, mainly on saucer (see photos)
