The New Chelsea company was established by the Plant brothers (R H & S L)at Stanley works, Bagnall Street,(renamed Chelson St) Longton Staffs. 1912-1951. New Chelsea Porcelain Co became New Chelsea China Co Ltd in 1951 and in 1957 took over Jackson & Gosling Ltd.From 1961 -69 the factory operated as Grosvenor China Ltd.Trade names New Chelsea, Chelson
