A Truly stunning early Victorian tea & coffee service which we believe is by MINTON although it is marked only with the pattern  number 774. Most likely dating to c1835. The cups in Mintons B.French shape. The teapot and creamer/milk jug are both three footed. Lemon ground with gold gilt patterning of bluebells,daisies and foliage. Consisting of a large teapot, Slops bowl, lidded sucrier (sugar box), creamer (milk jug), two handled Serving dish, six saucers, six low, wide rimmed tea cups and six Taller, narrower coffee cups. No damage found apart from one sucrier handle which has been broken off & well reglued and a small tea stain to teapot interior. Very mild signs of use, very slight wear to gilt. Considering the age of this set - approx 170 years old - it is in lovely condition and has obviously been well cared by
many generations of owners. 17500
