Truly stunning Brown-Westhead & Moore 'Cauldon' coffee cup & saucer dating to c1868. Pattern number C 5786. Wonderful minty 'Duck egg' ground with curled pink and blue ribbons entwined around fruiting greenery and within a gilt band above handle which rises from the cup body, loops back on itself to form the handle and then descends and encircles the pedestal. The handle with porcelain 'clip' in white attached to cup body. IN good condition with minimal evidence of wear or use.
