Rare and striking Maling tea cup & saucer  dating to the early 1930's. Gorgeous Royal purple ground with thickly applied black enamel borders.Simply shaped cup with loop handle. Small snack / petit four plate, which we are including free of charge ,has crazing to the glaze. Condition : There are very minor variations in ground colour, some wear to the black on handle & edging and two lines where the border is joined on saucer & plate (there since production) NO damage found t cup & saucer -Free plate has noticable crazing.
