Rare Melba China (Mayer/Sherratt) set of Art deco or possibly Nouveau period china in Fair Days pattern. Red headed girl, walking in a garden, dressed in flowing yellow dress and carrying a garland of flowers.Consisting of teapot, hot water jug milk jug sugar bowl and four trios of cup saucer & plate.CONDITION: There is general wear to gilt. The TEAPOT is a very small rim chip to shoulder and the lid a larger chip to internal collar-see photos. Hot water jugs matel lid probably not original but serviceable and can be used without. please ask for more information if required.STILL a striking set for use or display!
