Although unmarked apart from the pattern number 889 we believe this to be an early example of a SPODE coffee can c1800.Please note - no saucer, Can only. Handle shape typical of the factory. Red puce and gilt design band to upper body of can Gilt details to handle. Rings well. Some loss of gilt to rear side rim in particular. Probably owned by a left handed drinker!
