Early Derby coffee cup & saucer.Fluted and shanked from right to left.Blue underglaze pattern and gilding.Gilders numbers 3 which we believe was William Cooper & 5 - John Yates.Acanthus leaves design. Both pieces ring well.There are some firing specks and the gilt is worn mostly to rear rim -probably used by a left handed drinker - & saucer centre. Still a nice early example.
