A Mintons tea cup and saucer in Silver holder. One of two we currently have available. This set not quite so elaborate but still the quality you expect from Minton.The silver dating to c1908 from Sheffield. Cobalt blue ground and with Trailing floral borders to cup & saucer and the cup with sponged effect gilding to interior rim. Cup bowl rests inside silver holder and held in with pocelain screw fitting - see photos. Sizes approx cup 2 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" across. Saucer 5 1/2" across.CONDITION -The screw fitting has small chip which does not effect the grip within the holder,no other damage found. Some slight wear to glaze on both pieces.Nothing that spoils this rare and wonderful example. Offers considered
